Multiple accounts

The Splinters of Dusk promise never to use multiple accounts for unfair benefit of the clan.

We will not thrall-ring.

We will not clone.

We will not drag in our alternate accounts or their clans into gekkonid matters.

Details

The Splinters of Dusk retain their alt policy from back from their conception, whence the stance was excessively lenient, rather than strict as it would be viewed in these days:

No player may apply to the Splinters of Dusk with more than one account.
No player may use non-Splinters-of-Dusk alts to aid the clan, be it directly, indirectly, or abstractly.

By implication, it is allowed for a player who leaves the game to hand their gekkonid character to another player in the clan. We ask that this happens only with great consideration for the balance of the game, and that when it does, equally great care is taken to keep them as separate as possible within the clan.

Account donating

Leaving an account with us

If you leave the game but would like to gift the Splinters of Dusk with your account, please try to:

1. give it to a member of the opposite Tide.
   
2. however, not give it to your bound Splinter/Shard. (Bindings are OOC, too, and should always be between two different players.)
   
3. give it to someone who will RP the character.
   
4. give it to someone who isn't already holding onto a second account.

Tending to an account

For those who are tending to other accounts within the clan:

1. You may have no more than two accounts.
   
2. Passing coins from your Shard to your Splinter is discouraged but allowed (latter only indirectly, obviously).
   
3. Passing coins from your Splinter to any Shard (your Shard included) is forbidden.
   
4. Binding to yourself is forbidden.
