Well, I thank my own stupidity, really, amongst other pitfalls - the first hour, for one, was a useless exercise. Really, so was the second. If we'd done the (*shudders*) Ubuntu thing first, then a lot of stress now gnawing at my fragile youth would never have started to seep into my bones.

You'll have to thank Kyo, rather than me, for finding a complete version of ashGrunge. I only adjusted the templates on a .tpl per .tpl basis and found our old logo.gif.

'Ersatz' is a german word that's used in english. Kind of like 'rucksack' and 'u[e]ber' and 'angst'. 'Ersatz' means something akin to "substitute". Meaning, ersatz-pity is "a substitute for pity".
